Wickham's Ramon Kassam is showing work in a group exhibition entitled 'Bricks & Mortar' in Boston, USA, which opens at 225 Friend St on Friday 24th August at 7pm. The exhibition also features the work of Faber Studios co-founder and former member Clive Moloney.

Joan Stack in RDS Student Art Awards

Joan Stack's work is featured in the RDS Student Art Awards. The exhibition in the RDS Concert Hall is open on August 10th from 10am to 5pm and from August 15-19th the following week with varying opening times. http://www.rds.ie/studentart

Ramon Kassam has been selected by Clive Moloney along with his MassArt MFA peers to take part in an  exhibition they are working on in Boston. 

They have created a Kickstarter campaign (a website designed for art project fundraising) in order to raise $2000 to create their exhibition. As detailed on kickstarter.com the funds are for the transport of artists and artwork to Boston.

C:Inside

As part of C:Inside, Wickham Street Studios is open to the public on Friday May 4th(11-9pm) and Saturday May 5th(11-6pm). In addition to open studios we are hosting a sale of artwork by artists currently working in our studio. Also, some of our members will be showing work in three simultaneous exhibitions in Limerick Printmakers Studio & Gallery, Raggle Taggle Consortium, and Faber Studios.

Gerry Davis wins Award

Congratulations to Gerry Davis who won The Judges' Choice Award at The Door Prize for Painting 2012! http://thedoorprize.co.uk/

Gerry Davis is currently showing work at The Door Prize For Painting exhibition at Centrespace Gallery in Bristol. Gerry is one of 24 shortlisted  artists for The Door Prize which will be announced on March 28th.

Emmet Kierans' solo exhibition 'Inside Out, Outside In' opens on February 29th in the Talbot Gallery from 6-9pm and runs until March 14th.

Michelle O'Rourke

Michelle O’Rourke is a Limerick based artist originally from Co. Laois. Michelle graduated from Limerick School of Art and Design (LSAD) in 2007 with a Degree in Sculpture and Combined Media. She did her Ordinary level Degree at Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT). Michelle completed a Master’s Degree in History of Art and Architecture at the University of Limerick in August 2011. Her thesis title was ‘The revival and evolution of natural building materials in Irish Architecture with a case study of a group of buildings by GAIA Ecotecture Ireland’.

Wickham Street Studios member Emmet Kierans is showing new work at the exhibition 'Transitive Relationships' at Limerick City Gallery of Art. The exhibition also includes former Wickham St Studios members Ramon Kassam and Laura McMorrow and marks the launch of the newly refurbished gallery space. The show opens Monday at 5pm and runs until March 4th.
