Michelle O'Rourke

Michelle O’Rourke is a Limerick based artist originally from Co. Laois. Michelle graduated from Limerick School of Art and Design (LSAD) in 2007 with a Degree in Sculpture and Combined Media. She did her Ordinary level Degree at Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT). Michelle completed a Master’s Degree in History of Art and Architecture at the University of Limerick in August 2011. Her thesis title was ‘The revival and evolution of natural building materials in Irish Architecture with a case study of a group of buildings by GAIA Ecotecture Ireland’.
